The past several years has tested the resolve of the department and its personnel. Today marks a turning point — a moment to close one chapter and move ahead with renewed purpose.

We recognize the seriousness of any federal review and are grateful that the process has been brought to a close with integrity. Above all, we honor the steadfastness of our officers and their families, who have endured this uncertainty with quiet strength and dignity.
