Dear Brothers, Sisters, and the Phoenix Community,

This Independence Day is not just another day it is a monumental milestone. As we gather with family and friends this 4th of July, we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States of America. Two and a half centuries ago, a bold vision of liberty, justice, and self-governance was born.

That vision has endured because every generation hasproduced brave men and women willing to stand between freedom and chaos.

Today, the Fraternal Order of Police Phoenix Lodge 2 extendsour deepest gratitude to all those who protect the American dream:

• Our Armed Services: To the men and women wearing the uniform of the United States Military, thank you for defending our freedom on the global stage.     Your sacrifices ensure that the promise of 1776 remains secure.
• Our First Responder Partners: To our brothers and sisters in the fire services, thank you for your courage, your rapid response, and your unwavering dedication to saving lives in our communities.

Most personally, we want to recognize and honor theincredible men and women of the Phoenix Police Department.

Day in and day out, you put on the badge and walk into uncertainty to keep the citizens of Phoenix safe. You miss holidays, birthdays, and special events with your own families so that others can celebrate in peace. Your resilience, professionalism, and dedication to this city embody the very spirit of American service.

To our members: you are the backbone of this community. We are incredibly proud to stand with you, support you, and advocate for you every single day.

As we watch the fireworks light up the desert sky for thishistoric celebration, let us remember the cost of our freedom and thededication of those who keep us safe at home and abroad.
